Referral Program

Referral Program terms

These rules stay short and practical. They explain eligibility, the reward, and the main exclusions.

Eligibility

This program is for clients, property managers, and contacts referring a new qualifying Quebec project to Opticable.

Minimum subtotal

The eligible pre-tax project subtotal must be at least CAD 5,000 before any referral credit or reward can be earned.

Client discount

The referred client gets 5% off the qualifying pre-tax subtotal, capped at CAD 1,000 per quote.

Referrer reward

The referrer earns 3% in Opticable credit on the same qualifying subtotal, capped at CAD 1,000 per completed project.

When credit is earned

Credit is issued only after the referred project is completed and fully paid.

Exclusions

Self-referrals, same-company abuse, existing requests already open with Opticable, taxes, recurring services, support calls, already-signed work, and already-discounted scopes are excluded.

Credit use

Credits are non-cash and non-transferable. A maximum of CAD 1,000 can be applied to one quote or project.

Member code and credit use

The client portal shows a member-only code reserved for the account holder. To apply credit, the account holder must contact Opticable. After validation, Opticable deducts the approved amount from the available balance.

Eligible subtotal

Discounts and credits are calculated only on the eligible pre-tax subtotal approved by Opticable. Taxes, permits, shipping, financing fees, emergency calls, recurring services, support, maintenance, warranty work, already-discounted work, and pass-through items may be excluded.

Code on first contact

The referral code must be provided during the first quote request or first sales conversation. A code cannot be applied retroactively to a request already known, already open, already quoted, already signed, or already in progress.

One code per project

Only one referral, partner, or member credit code may be applied to the same project unless Opticable approves otherwise in writing.

Completed and paid definition

A project is considered completed and paid only when the work is substantially completed, the invoice is issued, the invoice is fully paid, and there is no open balance, dispute, refund, cancellation, chargeback, or holdback.

Hold period

Opticable may apply a hold period of up to 30 days after full payment before making credit usable, to protect the program against refunds, disputes, cancellations, or project adjustments.

No cash value

Client credits have no cash value, are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be used to pay taxes.

Abuse protection

Opticable may refuse, pause, reverse, or void a credit in cases of duplication, false information, self-referrals, same-company abuse, conflicts of interest, misleading solicitation, spam, or attempts to manipulate the program.

Final decision

Opticable has final discretion to determine eligibility, eligible subtotal, exclusions, duplicate leads, credit amounts, and whether the program rules were respected.

Program changes

Opticable may modify, pause, or end the program at any time. Credits earned in good faith remain eligible under the applicable rules, but may still be refused or reversed for error, non-payment, refund, fraud, or abuse.

Governing law

The program is governed by the applicable laws of Quebec and Canada.
